Be a Part of Lewis & Clark Library's 150th Anniversary Community Quilt Block Project
May 1, 2018 (Helena, MT)—Calling all quilters! As part of the Library's 150th Anniversary Celebration, the Library is sponsoring a Community Quilt Block Project. From May 1st thru May 10th interested quilters can pick up a quilt kit at the Information Desk at the Main Branch of the Lewis & Clark Library.
Quilters have until May 24th to sew their square and bring it back to the library.
The kits include the background fabric and frame fabric and the quilter adds a square in the middle. They are welcome to sign the bottom part of the white frame. Once all of the blocks are returned, they will be sewn together and the finished quilt will be displayed at the Lewis & Clark Library and at the Last Chance Stampede & Fair.
