Walk & Talk Book Club

walk and talk pic small

Mondays all summer! Starts June 7th! Meet at 6:30 PM at Centennial Park

Rejuvenate your body and mind all at once! Join Kellie Ashby for a weekly walk around Centennial Park, followed by a brief discussion on part of a chosen book. Bring a lawn chair for an outside discussion after the walk, and on the last meeting of the month we’ll discuss the whole book. We’ll meet at 6:30 PM at the park bench by the dirt road by the gazebo. We’ll be the ones with the red umbrella!

June’s book: Thirst: 2600 Miles to Home by Heather Anderson. 208 pages (52 pages each week). Limited copies of each title are available at the Lewis & Clark Library

July’s book: Sole Searching on the Appalachian Trail by Sam Ducharme. 294 pages (80 pages each week)

August’s book: Becoming Odyssa: Adventures on the Appalachian Trail by Jennifer Pharr Davis. 320 pages (80 pages each week)

Everyone’s welcome even if you haven’t read the book. We should add that this is all weather permitting! If the weather is not cooperating, then we will be meeting via Zoom. Register in advance for this meeting:
